The Barbarian | Realtime UE5 Character

A character I created for our portfolio course at The Game Assembly. The character is a fully game ready, Unreal Engine 5 compatible, inspired by Conan The Barbarian pulling inspiration from the live action movie starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and various comic variants. The Barbarian never backs down in the face of adversity.

The project timeline was half-time during 6 weeks of production with a heavy focus on anatomy, organics, fur/hair creation and rendering and Unreal Engine 5 workflow for characters. The character uses a base Metahuman mesh for the exposed body areas which I heavily edited in Zbrush focusing on anatomy with broadness and grittyness as the main focus for the entire sculpt.
Fur and Hair breakdown can be viewed in this post: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/98Yeoo

Credit to the Conan comics and the live action movies.

Thanks to my fellow classmates for feedback as well as tutors at TGA.
